Hello my fellow poets!
I am going to be partaking in writing prompts everyday for the 31 days of October. Similar to the Drawtober/Inktober challenges going around for artists – I wanted to challenge myself to get back into what truly makes me happy, which is writing. I hope to have a speedy recovery when it comes to posting on this blog I once beloved so very much. I apologize for my absence, as I have gone through a whirlwind of emotions and challenges.
I am going to do what I do best though in order to go through it, by writing my feelings out. After Poetictober I will be refreshing my page and updating it, as I have seen wordpress has changed its features and I am very excited to get on that! I will similarly be making an instagram and twitter account for those who are interested in following me on a more personal level but keeps it separate from my personal accounts.
I will be using https://randomwordgenerator.com/ for my writing prompts subjects and incorporate the word somehow in the poem. I will also be challenging myself to do different types of poetry, rather than my free verse style. I hope to really improve myself and get going on my writing career on the move! If you join me let me know and drop a comment below the post with a link to the poem you used for that prompt!
Until next verse,
